Newcastle's black-and-white stripes are one of the most recognisable shirts in football, and for 26/27 adidas did something nobody saw coming — the stripes are different widths. Thick next to thin, uneven across the chest. It divided the fanbase the day it dropped.
Blue runs through it too: blue three stripes on the shoulders, blue detailing on the collar and cuffs. Newcastle have been working blue into the home shirt for a few seasons now and this is the boldest go yet.
You'll either love it immediately or take a month to come around. Almost nobody is neutral on it.
