Black and gold. And a swarm of bees.
Manchester's worker bee was on these streets long before it was ever on a shirt — a symbol of graft, unity and the resilience that built this city. This shirt puts it front and centre: a bee pattern across a black base, with gold on the collar, cuffs and crest, and pale yellow accents that nod back to the 1989-90 third kit.
The design was signed off with Manchester City Council — the bee is a protected symbol of the city, and they made sure it was done right.
