Seventy-five years ago, a manager named Ted Drake walked into Stamford Bridge, tore up Chelsea's old identity, and gave them two things they've never let go of: the nickname the Blues, and the rampant lion. This shirt is built around him.
The lion takes centre stage. The home shirt drops the standard modern badge for a yellow rampant lion crest — the symbol Drake introduced, in gold on royal blue.
A fold-over polo collar and single-button placket give it a classic, throwback neckline, with gold accents on the logo and trims.
After years of loud, busy kits, this one goes the other way — clean, deliberate, built on 75 years of history. Less, done properly.
Why the Fan Version
Same design as the Player Version, built for a different job. The Player Version is cut close and kept light for match day. This one is made for everything else — college, travel, the pub screening, the stands — and for being washed again and again without losing its look.
What's different
-
Relaxed stadium cut — sits like your favourite tee instead of hugging the body the way the Player Version does
-
Embroidered crest & logos — stitched and slightly raised, so they hold up wash after wash instead of peeling
-
Denser, softer-feel fabric — keeps its shape and drapes better on everyday wear
-
Easy sizing — take your usual size; no sizing up needed
Care: wash cold, inside out, and hang to dry.
